Washtenaw County, MI (Jan. 1, 2020) – Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand. Lemonade Day has spread to over 57 cities in 23 states and 3 countries. We are proud to announce that this year kids throughout Washtenaw County will continue to experience Lemonade Day thanks to a major donation from our friends at Lake Trust Credit Union.
Each child that registers receives FREE access to our online interactive entrepreneurship training program, Lemonopolis, that teaches them the valuable lessons of Lemonade Day – including how to set a goal, make a plan, work the plan and achieve their dreams. Once a youth pays their investor back, they keep all of the money they earn and are encouraged to spend some, save some, and share some of their profit.
As a Fresh Squeeze Sponsor, Lake Trust Credit Union has demonstrated its continued commitment and support for encouraging youth entrepreneurship.
